I’m curious what others have to say about this. Because as strange as it sounds, I have actually had a few girls, that are only friends, say they wouldn’t mind sleeping in the same bed with me. Take in mind I’m a guy. I actually plan to bunk with 1 other guys, and 2 other girls at least in my college years, and I’m curious because my other friend (guy I’m bunking with) likes one of the girls that I’m bunking with. And they are already going out and things right now, and I think if they do reach that level of sleeping in the same bed, being together etc.. etc… I might bunk with the other girl. She has no problem with bunking in the same room as me, sleeping in the same bed, or even sharing the same bathroom. In fact the other girl I’m bunking with, the girl that might share a room with my guy friend, would also not have a problem with sharing the same bed and things with me.

What do you think? I’ve been given the nick name "The Saint" because of this. Do you think it’s just that I’m really trust worthy, or maybe something different? or maybe even that the girl I might bunk with likes me? Tell me what you think, I want to hear what others think of this, because I myself have thoughts, but I would rather be a little more sure about one of my thoughts.

And I’m sure I put this question in the wrong catagory, but this is debatable where is can go I suppose…anyways, back to the question…
Rochelleann has a good point, I can understand everything you said and see it. But the gay thing, no I’m not gay, and neither do they think it. and the ga jokes are reserved for our Homo-phobic friend, crazy as it sounds, but still funny. But I can understand how some will do the whol "nice guy" routine, but honestly I couldn’t have the will to trick someone into doing something for my own desires. And developing feelings…I can see what you mean there, honestly I already like her as a great friend, I would trust with almost anything, and that may actually cause a problem….or it may not. But thanks, I’ll think about that too. anyone else willing to give me an answer?

I would guess it’s because you’re trustworthy, and probably a really good friend. A girl wouldn’t get into a bed with a guy (she wasn’t planning on doing the dirty with) unless she really trusted him, and knew he was too good a friend to pull any moves or anything. Additionally, is there a possibility that they think you are gay? >>hope that question didn’t offend. It seems to me that you have been coined as a "nice guy"….sometimes it takes girls a long time to think about "nice guys" in any way other than a friend. The truth is though, "nice guys" are the ones we all want when it comes down to getting serious, marriage, kids etc.

Are you having sexual feelings for the girls when you do share a bed with them? I mean - are you fighting your own inner demons and desires, and just playing the "nice guy" (or the Saint) because you are too shy/insecure to act on your own feelings?

So, you’re attracted to both girls? Or just the one that isn’t already in a relationship. If I were you, I’d just go with the flow. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. Basically though, they are comfortable sleeping in the same bed with you for one of two reasons: a) they feel safe and trust you or b) they are attracted to you and are *hoping* something will happen.

If you’re attracted to the one that is sleeping in your bed, I’m sure that things will progress if the feeling is mutual.

Sounds to me though, that you’re all just good friends that are entirely comfortable with each other. Have you had many girlfriends in the past? Or are usually just the friend of the girl that has lots of different boyfriends?

I don’t know if what I am trying to find is impossible or super expensive or what… But. I am looking for a bunk bed type frame. Where you can put a futon on the top bunk and a king sized mattress on the bottom. Is this possible? Any links, stores, numbers etc…? Please, please, please help me find this! I have a futon mattress and I just inherited a king sized mattress and I need to find a frame to accommodate both! I have scoured the internet already and will probably be doing it while you read this! Help me find it! PLEASE!

Search on Craigslist. Search and keep searching hopefully a bunkbed with a futon will pop up on craigslist. Good Luck

When I get married, I fully plan on having bunk beds. I’m a pretty nice guy, so I’ll let my wife choose if she wants the top or bottom bunk. I hope she chooses the top, so that I can make a fort on the bottom. I’ve been told I should not do this, and that no self respecting woman would allow this, but I’m pretty sure it’s okay and very cool.

By top you mean ‘reverse cowgirl’, right?

And by fort you mean ‘b0ner’, right?
