Our boys are 12 and almost 11 (they are 16 mos apart) anyways, they are in bunk beds and we don’t have a choice now becasue I plan on going back to school and so we need to stay where we are at. How long can they fit in twin bunk beds mind you they are slim and not huge kids one is 5 feet tall the other 4′9.5
Thanks

I dont see how thats a problem girly…cus look at it this way. My annoying wife merideth always complains that beds get "worn out" or some useless shit like that and I get stuck buying her a new matress and frame for the bed. So like me if they dont like it or its to small for them suddenly buy a new one!

Pretty long, my brothers still sleep on a bunk bed and one is 5′8 and the other is 6′2.

Plus they are both fat LOL

The bunk bed is metal btw….i guess this is why it’s so sturdy to fit their fat ass still. :P

I grew up in a bunk bed like what you’re telling me about, me and my bro. They’ll fit them until they grow out of them really, which will probably be when they hit about 5′8-5′10 and it starts getting uncomfortable. I reached that about 15 or 16. So I wouldn’t worry too much about that.

They are fine for a long, long time.
Also, if they are wanting something else, they are old enough to start a project and build a bed themselves, find some cheap or free mattresses (then do some cleaning), and put it all together. It might cost you a little, but it would be WELL worth the learning and sense of accomplishment they would gain. And beds are very simple :)

    Good luck and God Bless.

i know your boys are close in age but the one that is 12 will want a place of his own he will get annoyed by your younger son and as your son grows up he will need a place to be alone an think about things i really think you should seperate them…………..
