Need ideas–Redecorating room for 4 yo boy/girl twins!?
I'm looking for creative ideas for redecorating my 4 year old boy/girl twins' bedroom. They've outgrown their toddler beds and the babyish nursery decor. We're planning to get them bunk beds and I'd like to update the room. My boy is all "boy"–trucks and cars and the like–and my girl is all "girl"–pink and princesses and ponies. They do share a common love of animals, so I was thinking of doing some sort of animal theme. Any suggestions?

You could draw in one of the walls a theme from a fairytaile or a cartoon they like like winnie the pooh or something…

A barnyard or jungle theme is always fun… I would go with the jungle as most bedding is bright and multicolored… ultra unisex

You could do an amusement park/circus/fair type theme. They could have bars on their bed like a cage for the animals. Desks could be ticket booths or concession stands.

auquarium theme… you could paint the bottom half to look like an ocean and have fish in the water and jumping out of the water , paint a sky with clouds up by the ceiling. This would be fun, unisex and could last for a while before that outgrew it… any barnyard animal theme is gonna have to be redone within a couple years since there 4.
oh and if your pretty good at this kind of work you could put sharks and cool fish like that in the ocean and your son will love that…. but then put a beach with umbrellas, lawn chairs, and all the girly stuff for your daughter
You could also do a zoo theme and put animals in cages etc…
