Weather To Use My TV As A Comp Screen?
So right now, my computer is under my bed (bunk bed) and i plan to get a normal bed (one bunk) but im not sure weather to get a desk for my comp or use my TV as the screen and put my comp on the floor, but if i get a desk, my room will look really cramped, because i have a small room, what do you lot think i should do??
Ive got a really modern one, only bought it 2 days ago, Samsung 32" series 4
If your Samsung 32" is an HDTV with HDMI or VGA ports, it is computer-ready.
You can connect an HDTV's HDMI port to a computer's DVI port by using a DVI-to-HDMI cable.
If your computer only has an old VGA port and no DVI, then hopefully the TV will have a VGA port so you can connect the two using a standard VGA monitor cable.
Hope this helps.
If you have a modern flatscreen TV with a VGA or DVI connector you could use it.
If you have an 'oldschool' cathode ray tube TV, don't do it. The resolution is really poor and you'll be struggling to even read the most simple things.
