Archive for the ‘Twin Over Full Bunk Bed’ Category

I am getting a bed from my dad its a full bed. So far me and my sister ( who is 8 and been dying for a bunk bed) have twin beds. I would like a bigger bed anyways cause I am 5′6 and twin is kinda small for me.

I don’t think so because of the measurements.

So, my brother is 17, and my other 8. They share a room. They have bunk beds that is a full on the bottom, and a twin on top. They don’t like them. My sister (12 almost 13) and I (14 almost 15) share a room. We kinda want the bunkbeds. We have a twin bed each. It would give us more room, and underbed storage. I would get the bottom, (WHOOP WHOOP :] a bigger bed which is good when my boyfrind comes over and we want to cuddle :]) and she would get the top. The only thing is, she would be RIGHT above me. Oh yeah, did I mention we fight alot? That could be bad. So I don’t know what to do, should we leave everything the same or go for the bunkbeds and why?

Bunk Beds .. Coz its quite better even though the age .. Ohhh yeah my brother share room with me .. (few times now coz he’s making something) We don’t have bunk beds but we wish .. Are beds are sticking together .. So .. :)

ok, i have 3 kids. Two girls and a boy. I am trying to find a bed for my girls to sleep in.My 3 1/2 yr old sleeps in the bed with us, my 16 month old sleeps in her room in her playpen.(she won’t sleep in crib) I don’t have a lot of space in their room(moving them into one room). i was thinking bunk beds with the staircase, but then i decided not to, cause my 3 1/2 yr old likes to jump off things and teaching her little sister. well what about a full size bed? do u think they will sleep in the same bed all night? The bad thing is, they go to bed at different times. any suggestions??? if you have 2 kids of same sex and don’t have much space..how do u have their sleeping arrangements. just curious on how other household does? My oldest already has a twin bed, she just doesn’t sleep in it!!
i have 3 kids, my lil guy is a newborn and wont need his own room for awhile, but i would like to go ahead and move the girls. I don’t have another room. i only have 3 bdrooms.

When I had that situation I had a unique set up…Basically the one bed slipped under a corner table that gave us back the floor space. The beds were something like this http://bedzine.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/twin.jpg But you could push the one under the table.

Your other option is a daybed with a trundle but it;s a pain to pull in and out every single night.

Look in your local used furniture ads you can get one inexpensively.

I have a bunk bed in my room. I hate it, but my parents won’t let me change it now. It’s a twin over full size. I’m the only one using it so I wanted to know if there was something I could do to change it up or make it cooler. Any ideas?

If it is a metal frame one, your stuck with the whole thing. So what my kid did was get some big pillows and an old futon mattress and folded it up along the back to turn it into a couch. That way when they were hanging out with their friends, they all sat on the bottom and played video games, watched TV, etc. Just like a couch in the room. But if a friend spent the night, he could turn it back into a bed easy.
