I would use a latex acrylic finish. It is quite durable and is often used as finish on wood trim and wood doors. Most stores have paint called cabinet/ trim paint also. Designed to be used on kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

Doesn’t matter. It’s the preparation of the bed and the quality of the paint that will determine how well it lasts. Poor prep and cheap paint WILL chip. Guaranteed!

ALL paint will chip if abused.

Um, I'm pretty sure you're just talking about yourself because you posted essentially the same question from the 12-year-old's point of view. Nice try, though. On the other question, I thought it was fine for someone younger than the restriction to ask one simple question, but now it's just getting annoying. I'm under the impression that you asked this question to avoid the ragging of other Yahoo! users because you are too young.
