Do they still make classic black metallic bunk beds?
twin or futon on the bottom, anything, used or not?
Something that runs under $500.
Do you guys know a site or anything? thanks. xx
OMG - if you have ever been in an IKEA warehouse showroom, you would be in bunkbed heaven. They have an awesome selection of bunk beds and loft beds for kids. They come in all colors and materials - wooden and metal, mattress and futon. They sell for well under $500. I eyed their selection well because I have plans to go back to redorate my son’s room with one of their bunk beds. I have already remodeled one of my son’s room with their furniture. The problem was not finding a bunk bed that I liked, it was deciding on which one to pick. You can view their website, but I have found they don’t have near a selection for viewing online as in their stores.

I’ve seen them on Graig’s List. Some times stuff is just given away. Keep checking there. Also the Thrift Stores and Used Furniture Stores. I haven’t seen the black metallic ones for a while but I’m quite sure someone has them.
Type Metallic Bunk Beds in a search engine and see what you come up with. I just did it and there is a bunch of them from $199.99 up/

Even easier, are you a wal mart person> there bunks go for 179.00 w/o mattresses. twin on top of twin. I owned them about 4 years ago when they were around 250 and they are nice wooden bunks..And a sinch to put together….
