When is a kid old enough to sleep on the top in a bunk bed?
BTW, it does have safety rails on the sides.
Usually most bunk beds say for kids 6 and older, i believe, at least the one i have for when my son is older, says that, and i’ve heard others say there’s does too.
But really it depends on the child and i have known 3 and 4 year olds who have used bunk beds with no probs.
I am planning on letting my son use his bunk bed when he is about 4 years old.
Hope this helps,

common sense
has the kid ever fell out of their normal bed? If not then they most likely will not fall out of a bed just because it is higher…

probably depends on the kid, like is he going to climb out of it, kids do climb out of stuff even if they have safety rails. kids might be better off on regular beds

I would say when they stop falling off the bottom , Then I would trust him/her.

I slept on bunk beds in camp when I was 4. It’s all good.

Just as long as they do not sleep walk now is fine. Since it has a rail they should not fall off.

I would say around 5 or 6, since there are safely rails. As long as the child knows not to try to jump from the top bunk or climb down without a ladder.

Well, if it does have safety rails, then I’d say about 8 or 9.
