Joe-I’m staying with you tonight. Tomorrow you are going to be free, so I have plans. Just you and me. Have you ever gone to a live concert before?
“Thank you. Uh, no, why?”
Joe-Really?! Well, guess what?… What’s your favorite band?
“Fall Out Boy” (AN-Not really, JB are but I really like Fall Out Boy! lol)
Joe-Well, I got you front row tickets and meet and greet passes!
“Ahh, no way!” I screamed. He gave me a hug. I smiled. “You didn’t have too!”
Joe-I know, I wanted too. You need to have some fun. Tomorrow will be our day, we’ll hang out all day.
He smiled back at me. “I do feel a little better.”
Joe-Thought so. So… you wanna watch some good old Sponge Bob?
“Yeah, that would be nice.” I said wiping tears off my face. Sponge Bob always made me laugh. So we watched it for the 2 hours it was on, laughing every 30 seconds. Joe smiled at me the whole time. I smiled back. After, we ate some food from the cafeteria that Joe brought. When I was done I said, “Thank you for staying. It means a lot.”
Joe-You’re welcome. I wanted too. I had to convince the doctors to let me stay. It was hard, but I did.
I giggled. “Wow, I’m sleepy.” I said as I yawned.
Joe-Yeah me too.
He yawned too and set up the extra bunk bed that was in the room. “Goodnight.” I said once he finished. He gave me a hug, pulled my sheets up, and kissed my forehead.
Joe-Goodnight. We have a big day tomorrow.
I woke up the next morning as I found the doctors taking all the plugs off me. Joe was right there next to me smiling.
Doctor-Okay, well you are good to go Ms…. Uh, I don’t have your last name.
Joe-Jonas.
Doctor-Okay, Ms. Jonas.
I looked at Joe with the ‘what?’ face. He winked back.
Doctor-Well just make sure you keep that bandage around your arm on and dry for 2 more days. Then you can take it off. Then in 2 weeks you’ll come back to remove the stiches. Have a good day.
I changed, signed out of the hospital, and ran out of the hospital with Joe dragging me by my hand.
Joe-Come on! We’re gonna be late! If you want the best seats, you gotta get there early!
“Okay, okay!” I said jumping into his Audi. We drove to the concert and got in our seats. “This is going to be awesome!”
Joe-Yeah it is!
And it was awesome! I had an amazing time! I was jumping up and down singing to all the songs. Joe was doing the same right next to me and most of the time had one of his strong arms around me to make sure I didn’t fall. Then I met them. My heart was pounding! I took a picture and got a free signed CD. So did Joe. “Hey, I hope I’m not asking for too much, but can I get one for my friend? He didn’t get to come.”
Fall Out Boy-Sure!
“Thank you! Bye.”
Fall Out Boy-Bye!
Then Joe and I went shopping and got a lot of stuff. After we went canoe riding in the lake in the park. We were going in circles. “I don’t think we’re doing this right!” I said laughing. So was Joe. He was so adorable!
Joe-What? You don’t like going around in circles?
We just sat there talking and laughing for a while. It was pretty romantic. Then we figured out how to move in a straight line. Joe took me to the little peer on the far side of the lake. There was a guitar there. “So that’s why you took so long in the bathroom.”
Joe-Hey, don’t ruin the surprise.
“I know, I’m just kidding.”
Joe-Haha, funny.
I giggled. Then he started to play and sing a song,

Everytime I think I’m closer to the heart
Of what it means to know just who I am
I think I’ve finally found a better place to start
But no one ever seems to understand
I need to try to get to where you are
Could it be, your not that far

(Chorus)
You’re the voice I hear inside my head,
the reason that I’m singing
I need to find you
I gotta find you
You’re the missing piece I need,
the song inside of me
I need to find you
I gotta find you

Oh yeah
Yeah yeah

You’re the remedy I’m searching hard to find
To fix the puzzle that I see inside
Painting all my dreams the color of your smile
When I find you I¨t will be alright
I need to try to get to where you are
Could it be, your not that far

(Chorus)

Been feeling lost, can’t find the words to say
Spending all my time, stuck in yesterday
Where you are is where I wanna be
Oh next to you… and you next to me
Oh I need to find you… yeah

(Chorus x2)

Yeah Yeah!
I gotta find you

FERRELL plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (MARY STEENBURGEN, Elf, Nixon). REILLY plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (RICHARD JENKINS, Burn After Reading, The Visitor, TVs Six Feet Under). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house.
