I have a bunk bed in my room. I hate it, but my parents won’t let me change it now. It’s a twin over full size. I’m the only one using it so I wanted to know if there was something I could do to change it up or make it cooler. Any ideas?
If it is a metal frame one, your stuck with the whole thing. So what my kid did was get some big pillows and an old futon mattress and folded it up along the back to turn it into a couch. That way when they were hanging out with their friends, they all sat on the bottom and played video games, watched TV, etc. Just like a couch in the room. But if a friend spent the night, he could turn it back into a bed easy.

Put a mosquito net from under the top mattress going down and covering the bottom one. Turn the upper bed into a sofa. Put big pillows all the way around the rail.

with permision you can get a stencil
take everything of the bed and put
polka dots over it to funk it up
you could paint it a new colour
like purple black pink blue
with a paint marker write all over it
things like love,freedom,friendship,body,soul
this gives it a girly teenage look to it
but it could take a while to do
get some new sheets and a new
duna cover and pillow covers maybey
pick bright colours to give it a summery feel
or make long strings with beads
on them and hangs them off
of little places around the bunk
these arent really great
