would a 30 foot by 30 foot cabin be comfortable for our family?

alll we are going to have in the cabin is a double kitchen sink, some counter space, a small 4 burner stove, a woodburning stove to heat the cabin, a ful size bed in one bedroom, a bunk bed (twin size on top) (full size on bottom) in another bedroom, a table to eat on, a shower, a lil sink in bathroom and toilet, and 2 closets for clothes and one closet for blankets and etc., and a couch with a hidabed and a rocking chair .. we wont have a fridge or a hot water heater, or a washer and dryer. HOW BIG COULD A CABIN BE TO ACCOMODATE JUST THAT LIL BIT OF STUFF?

900 square feet. It’s not a large place, but many 2 bedroom apartments are about that size.

How to deal with my company?

You don’t really say how big your family is. 30×30 is more than 50% larger than the average two car garage (@ 24′ square). Yes, it would fit, we had most of that in a 6′x14′ pop up trailer and camped with 5.

We built a 24 x 32 lakefront cabin. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The rooms are a bit small, but it is a great place for a family of 5. If cost is an issue, it often is more economical to keep the width down to 20-24 feet and add on to the length of the cabin. This tends to save on building material costs.

900 Sq. Ft. is a small cottage.
Your furniture hints at a family of four.
It will fit, but I hope you get on well together.

Sorry. I personally live in something closer to 45×45 and it works fine. The 30×30 portion includes a small kitchen with stove, counter and sink, as well as two closets, one small bedroom and a bath. The living room space and other bedroom won’t fit.

Try running some string in a 30×30 foot box outside in a yard area and see how you would fit everything!

    Good luck!
